<p>Welcome to our new website we hope you enjoy it, there will be a lot of changes happening in and around the arena so stay posted on our website for all the latest news and events. We are very excited to introduce our NEW 9.15am class which kicks off this week Wednesday 1st of May. This class will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only. We also have a NEW off peak membership that you can purchase online as well as our Ludus Merchandise.</p>

<p>You may have seen the news recently discussing nutrition labelling and techniques to reduce unhealthy eating behaviours. Or you have been either hiding under a rock, or too engrossed in your challenge to take heed of such matters. If there latter two are the case here is a link below:</p>

<p>I know what you are thinking. You are warriors. You are extreme athletes who work hard, regardless of the blood, sweat and tears you shed on a regular basis. Surely these exercises such as ‘walking’ or ‘typing at a computer’ in no way compare to someone of your calibre.</p>
<p>Cue topic number two: beverages. We all need to drink them; I mean our body is 60% water after all. But do we replace our fluid losses from all of that blood, sweat and tears with water? Not always. Besides where is the enjoyment in that?</p>

Ludians,</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">This week many of our Ludians have been busy stepping up and preparing for the battle ahead.  Training, nutrition and dedication are going to be taken up to a whole new level with this fresh batch of focused gladiators who are all aiming to come out leaner and meaner by the end of the six week transformation challenge. It’s certainly going to be a fierce battle.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Regardless of whether you are fresh to the arena, part of the transformation challenge or already a buff gladiator, it is a good time to start thinking about your goals.  Where do you want to be by Christmas? Do you want to be stronger, faster, leaner and meaner? Improve your overall health? Do you have an important event coming up? What are you working towards?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Also how are you going to achieve this?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Think about your Ludus sessions – all that effort, time, energy, sweat and tears you put in every time you’re in the arena.  Do you put that same intensity and focus into your eating habits and nutrition plan?</p>
<p>The right quantity, quality and timing of what you eat and drink is hugely important in  helping you get stronger, repair those aching muscles, replenish what you have used and overall improve your performance and health.</p>
